Nuno Boaventura Miranda is a Cape Verdean director, visual artist, and writer who's visual storytelling is marked by his sensorial and poetic language and a deep sensitivity to rhythm and light. He expresses this visual experimentations across his cinematic, commercial, and other visual projects.His debut film, Kmêdeus, premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2020, establishing his distinct cinematic voice. His latest short, The Last Harvest, explores the "portals" of identity within the Cape Verdean diaspora.
Nuno is now based in the Netherlands, expanding his visual language into his next films as well as new commercial work, music videos and other cinematic territories.
